Another Explosion In Jos Near Viewing Centre

 
Bomb explosion again rocked Jos, the Plateau State capital last night less than a week after multiple explosions killed over 200 in the city.
Unconfirmed reports said the bomb exploded at a football viewing centre where fans had gathered to watch the final of the UEFA Champions League between Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid.
Residents said the explosion occurred along Bauchi Road near the University of Jos.
The sound of the explosion was heard about 25 kilometres away from the scene.
A witness, Tanko Shittu, who rushed to the scene five minutes after the blast, said the explosion occurred near a car park, few metres away from a security checkpoint.
The state police spokesperson, Felicia Ali confirmed the incident, but said details were still sketchy.
