French Open: Caroline Wozniacki Loses First Match Since Rory McIlroy split
Caroline Wozniacki lost in the opening round of the French Open in her
first match since golfer Rory McIlroy ended their engagement.
Former world number one Wozniacki, the 13th seed, was beaten 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 6-2 by Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer.
The Dane, a quarter-finalist in Paris in 2010, made 31 unforced errors and hit only 15 winners.
McIlroy, 25, who won the PGA Championship at Wentworth on Sunday, and Wozniacki, 23, split on Wednesday.
