Kim & Kanye Are Officially Married, Bride’s Wedding Dress Revealed!

 

It's official! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are married!

The long-awaited nuptials of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have finally transpired in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, and ET has all the romantic details.

Kim walked down the aisle in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture gown creation by Riccardo Tisci, the French fashion house confirmed in a statement to ET.  In addition to the dress, all accessories and veil were also Givenchy, which also provided a custom wedding tuxedo for the groom as well as a custom Haute Couture dress for the couple's daughter North, which matched her mother's gown.

One of the first to congratulate the couple was R&B superstar Beyonce, who posted a message on Instagram along with a photo of the newly married couple with their daughter North. "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family," Beyonce said in the message.

The wildly anticipated wedding was held at the famed 16th-century Belvedere Fort, where walls protected the altar and dance floor from being viewed by outsiders. The couple reportedly spent $400,000 to rent out the wedding venue. Longtime Kardashian family friend Sharon Sacks is said to have planned the wedding, which was officiated by Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr.

The 33-year-old reality star's step-dad Bruce Jenner walked the beautiful bride down the aisle to meet her groom against a wall of flowers. The newlyweds and guests were then treated to a magical rendition by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli, who left shortly afterwards, as well as a performance by John Legend. One of the more adorable moments of the ceremony was when all of Kris Jenner's grandchildren walked down the aisle.

The menu included chicken, steak, salmon, tortelloni, strawberry gelato and both rose and gold Armand de Brignac champagne. The food was color-coordinated with pink being the theme.

Kimye's wedding guests are said to be staying at Florence's Westin Excelsior, where 80 rooms were booked.
This has been one luxurious wedding weekend! Prior to Kimye's "I dos" in Italy, ET was on hand for the couple's pre-wedding event at the Chateau de Verailles in France. At the palace, a source for ET (a worker inside the palace) disclosed that around 100 guests were in attendance. These lucky friends and family members were allowed to run amok through any room in the palace, and were also offered horse-drawn carriage rides around the grounds.

The pre-wedding party was organized by the 36-year-old rapper, and those working the event were dressed as though they were from the days of Marie Antoinette. They were instructed not to speak to guests. One-thousand bottles of Ace of Spades rose champagne was on hand in addition to other Ace of Spades bubbly. To put this in perspective, Ace of Spades champagne can run around $300 a bottle!

Lana Del Ray was the musical guest of the evening but was late to perform. Kim and Kanye covered for her, taking the podium with speeches that made light of her tardiness. When she finally arrived, Lana performed three songs, including Young and Beautiful, as fireworks went off in the background.

The couple then announced that everyone was going to Italy! Kim joked that the location change to Florence was meant to be a surprise but sadly the press broke the news days ago. Apparently, Kanye was only to state that they were to wed in Italy, but instead added that they were marrying in Florence. The couple got in a mini-fight over the leak of information.

Even before the Florence wedding and palace party, family members and friends were spotted strolling with fashion icon Valentino in the gardens of his 17th-century Chateau de Wideville home in France.

This wedding weekend is a long time coming. Kim and Kanye were first photographed together in 2007, but the rapper said later he had his eye on Kim long before their first introduction. He told Kris Jenner that he remembered fawning over her with friends after seeing pictures of her with Paris Hilton.

The Yeezus artist had a few hurdles to get over before winning over the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. After dating Reggie Bush in 2007, Kim famously married NBA player Kris Humphries in 2011 and split from him just 72 days later.

Kim and Kanye were first spotted together as a couple in 2012 while shopping in New York. Kim announced that she was pregnant with daughter North West that same year. "He's the best daddy," Kris told ET in Nov. 2013, gushing over her now son-in-law.

On October 21, 2013, Kim accepted Kanye's wedding proposal on her 33rd birthday in front of her family and close friends at San Francisco's AT&T Park. "It was so surreal," she recalled. "We ran and told [North] right away."
