Super Eagles Numero Uno, Vincent Enyeama Nominated For Best Goalkeeper In Ligue 1

National Union of Professional Footballers has unveiled the nominees for the most outstanding players in France this season which comes to a conclusion next month.

In the category , Player of the Season, three PSG players - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Thiago Motta - and one from Monaco, James Rodriguez made the shortlist.

The contenders for Best Goalkeeper include Lille’s numero uno Vincent Enyeama, Salvatore Sirigu of PSG, Steve Mandanda (Marseille) and Stephane Ruffier ( Saint Etienne).

Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama is early favourite to win the top goalie award, having failed to concede a goal in 1062 minutes of action this season.

Recall that the UNFP has taken notice of his fine form for Lille, after naming him as the best player in Ligue 1 for the month of October and November.
