THE OLDEST CATHOLIC PRIEST IN
NIGERIA IS DEAD. REV. MSGR.
PEDRO AYODELE MARTINS. He
was born in Lagos on the 16th
of November, 1910. He was the
first Lagosian catholic priest
and the pioneer Nigeria
Catholic Chaplain of the Nigeria
Army. He attended the Catholic
Seminary @ Asaba and was
ordained a priest on August 8,
1943. He is 70years as a priest.
The oldest Catholic priest to be
buried on 10 June,
2014.
