Nigeria have risen 10 points to the 34th position in the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday.
The Super Eagles occupied the 44th position before the just concluded World Cup in Brazil.
Nigeria currently rank 3rd in Africa, behind Algeria (24) and Côte d’Ivoire (25).
