Super Falcons Know 2015 World Cup Foes In Ottawa

The Federation of International Football Association will be staging the draw for the Canada 2015 Women's World Cup on December 6 Federation of International Football Association will hold the draw for the 7th edition of the Women's World Cup in Ottawa on December 6. The draw will see representatives from 24 teams from six confederations which have qualified for the tournament gather inside Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa to know their opponents in the group stage. Ottawa, Moncton, Montréal, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver were listed as the venues to host games of the competition which will hold from June 6 to July 5 2015. A record 129 nations entered the qualifiers and that the finals will, for the very first time, feature 24 teams. This is the seventh appearance of Nigeria's senior women team in the tournament with their best outing at the 1999 edition staged in USA. The African champions were edged out by Brazil in an infamous golden goal in the quarterfinal after finishing as runners up in their group.
