Moses Returns After Xmas

Stoke City winger, Victor Moses, could return to action after Christmas, Stoke City manager, Mark Hughes, has disclosed. Stoke City will host West Bromwich Albion on December 28 and Moses could well play a role in that game, africanFootball.com reports. Moses injured his thigh in the home defeat by Burnley in November and has been receiving treatment with parent club Chelsea. Hughes, who spoke to Moses at Selhurst Park where Stoke drew with Crystal Palace, told reporters that he was optimistic that the Nigeria international will be back soon. He said: “The (medical) lads had a quick look at him and were happy with how he is. Hopefully, we will get him back the New Year. Or, if not, soon after.” Moses joined Stoke on a season-long loan in the summer, and has scored one goal and provided four assists in the Premier League so far. He has played for Crystal palace, Wigan Athletic and was on loan at Liverpool last season from Chelsea. He has 22 caps and seven goals for Nigeria. Source:thenation
