Amaechi’s Admission Of Failure Shows Rivers Deserves An Independent Minded Governor – Wike

Amaechi The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike has described the apology tendered by Governor Rotimi Ameachi for his woeful performance as state chief executive during his last pre-election state broadcast as another reason why the people of the state are going to overwhelmingly elect him, Wike, as the next governor of the state. According to a statement issued by the Special Assistant, Media, to Wike, Simeon Nwakaudu,the Wike-Banigo PDP governorship ticket in Rivers State represents the future of the state and the only platform to protect the resources of the state from the predators already primed to further damage the state. the statement reads in part: “Amaechi’s perfidious apology laced with underlying threats to the peace loving people of Rivers State remains a desperate attempt by a drowning politician who is scheming to stay relevant through undemocratic means, having sustained himself as the governor of the state by deliberately killing the Judiciary, Legislature and emasculating the civil service.
