Ahead of Friday’s 2015 All Africa Games qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and their Malian counterparts in Abuja, Chairperson of the Nigeria Women’s League Board, Dilichukwu Onyedinma has disclosed that the Malian delegation are expected to fly in Wednesday for the match.
“It depends on the airline they want to fly with but the last time I spoke to the Malian delegation; they confirmed that they will be in Nigeria today” she told footballlive.ng.
“What I am not sure of is if they will fly via Lagos or Abuja but I think with the airline that they want to fly with, they should come straight to Abuja because that will be easier for them”
The first leg tie ended 1-1 as the Malian girls fought back to earn the draw just at the dearth of the game to keep up hope of stunning the Super Falcons on home soil to book a place for the football event at the 11th All African Games scheduled to hold in Congo Brazzaville.
