'Oxlade-Chamberlain out for up to eight weeks'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be out for between six to eight weeks but will not require surgery, after being substituted due to injury in the Champions League clash with Barcelona.
The midfielder left the Emirates Stadium on crutches that night after a collision with Javier Mascherano left him with a knee problem, but Wenger has indicated that the England international will not need surgery.
"He will be out for six to eight weeks but he won't need surgery," the Gunners boss said.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is likely to miss much of the Premier League title run-in as Arsenal look to overtake Tottenham and Leicester City but will hope to have regained full fitness for Euro 2016.
