Again, Niger Delta Avengers blow up NNPC pipeline in Akwa Ibom

 
Resurgent militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, has blown up a gas pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation,NNPC, in Akwa Ibom State.
The gas pipeline located at Nsit-Ibom council area was blown up by the group at about 11.30pm on Sunday.
Avengers which have claimed responsibility for several pipeline attacks in the Niger Delta region, confirmed its latest attack in a statement by its spokesperson, self-styled Gen. Mudoch Agbinibo on Monday.
The statement reads, “11:30pm on Sunday, the NDA blow up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), gas pipeline at Nsit-Ibom L.G.A, Akwa Ibom state. NNPC should check their pipeline if it’s ‘system Anomaly’.”
