Alexis Sanchez admits to €1m tax fraud

 
Arsenal forward, Alexis Sanchez, has admitted to tax fraud of up to €1million to a Catalan Court.
The Chile international accepted the charge on Monday via video link,

Alexis allegedly committed the crime against the Treasury, while he was still a Barcelona player between 2012 and 2013. The Europa Press reports that the sum involved is €983,443.
Prosecutor Miguel Angel Perez de Gregorio argued that Alexis avoided paying tax on his image rights, by using a company based in Malta.
It is understood that the 28-year-old has already returned the money, but is still likely to receive a fine.
There might also be a prison sentence, but it would be short and therefore, suspended.
