Two arrested over robbery of Mr. Ibu's house

Two members of the robbery gang that stormed the Festac home of Nollywood star, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, weekend, have been arrested.

It was gathered the robbers had invaded the home while the actor was away. They met his wife who they ordered to show them where cash and other valuables were kept.

“According to my wife, the operation started at about 3am and lasted till about 4:25am this morning after which they left with all my property and cash,” Mr. Okafor said on Saturday.

He said the robbers carted away over N14m and other valuables.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Chike Oti, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery, SARS, for further investigation.
