IMSU SETS FOR CONVOCATION AFTER SIX YEARS
Barring
 any last minute change of plans, Imo State university, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria (IMSU), 
will in the first quarter of  2016, hold convocation ceremony. The 
acting vice chancellor of the University, prof Adaobi Obasi told newsmen
 in her office in Owerri, Tuesday,  that plans are on top gear towards 
having a hitch free convocation ceremony. 
Prof Obasi informed that the last time the University organised a convocation ceremony was in 2009,adding that she was committed towards holding it within the next few months.
"the last time we organised such an event was in 2009.there are lots of certificates I am signing and I am committed to getting them ready during the convocation so that the owners will collect them ".
Prof Obasi said that a lot of infrastructural developments are going on in the school, saying that she was committed to rendering her best services to the citadel of learning.
